Jesus paid the price on the cross. He took our sin and penalty...
Jesus loves you!
After God created the earth he created man (Adam and Eve) in his image to live in fellowship with him. But man was tempted by the devil and when Adam and Eve decided to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowlegde of good and evil they turned their back on God by realizing themselves sinning against him. Because God is holy, pure and full of love he removed his Spirit from man and we became darkened by the sinful nature of the devil.
From this time in the human history we have tried to come back to God through religious acts to justify ourselves toward God but none of our acts can save us. The Bible declares that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God loves you and has a good plan for you and that's why he sent Jesus Christ to do what we were not able to do; dying for our sins and transgressions. Jesus paid the price and took the penalty in our place so by his death and resurrection from the dead we could get forgiveness for our sins and be born again. How? By believing in Jesus and asking him to becomeour Lord and Savior. When you recieve Jesus as your Lord and Savior you are born again to live a whole new life without bad consience, rejection, inferiority but filled with God's love, faith, boldness and power in your daily life.
What we believe
KBC recognizes the Bible as God's manifest will and accept the following explanations of fundamental truths and doctrines:
1. Bible: The Bible is God's inspired Word and God's apparent will. (2 Tim. 3:15-17, 7 Pet. 1: 23-25, Heb. 4:12)
2. Godhead: There is only one true deity, which includes the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These are completely equivalent to each other and are eternal. (Matt. 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:13 and 1 John. 5: 6-9) Jesus Christ revealed in the flesh, is the second member of the Trinity. (Isiaih. 9.6, John. 1.1, and 1:14)
3. Man: Man was created in God's image, but through the free will man fell into sin and man's only hope of salvation is found in Jesus Christ, God's Son. (1.Genesis, 1.26, 3: 1-7 and Romans. 5: 12-21)
4. Man's salvation: a) Man's only hope of salvation is through Jesus Christ's shed blood. On the cross Jesus Christ became humanity's sin and sickness, and prepared both salvation and healing for all mankind. (Isaiah 53: 4-5 and Matthew 8:16-17) You can receive salvation when you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead, and with your mouth confesses Jesus Christ as Lord. (Romans 3:24, 10: 8-10 and Ephesians 2:8)
b) The internal evidence of the believers is the Spirit direct testimony (Romans 8:16). The external signs of all people is a life of true glory and love. (1. John. 3:23, John. 13:35)
c) Salvation is obtained through faith in Jesus Christ, and not because of human deeds, but our deeds are evidence of our faith and will determine the size of our salary in eternity. (Romans 10: 9-10, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7 and Jacob 2:18)
5. Baptism in water: Baptism in water happens after a person believes, and is a proclamation for the world, that expresses that the believer is dead with Christ and has resurrected with Him, to walk with Him in a new life. (Matt. 28:19, Acts. 10:47-48 and Rom. 6:4)
6. Communion: To share the Lord's Supper by eating bread and drinking wine is a remembrance of Jesus and taking part in His body and blood. (1 Cor. 11:24-30)
7. Holy Spirit baptism: All believers has a right to and should expect and seriously seek baptism in the Holy Spirit, which the Lord has promised along with Jesus Christ's command. Along with the baptism in the Holy Spirit we receive power to life and service, in addition with the assignment of the gifts of the Spirit we use in the Lord's service. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is seperated from the the new birth and happens after the new birth. (Luke 24:19, Acts 1: 4-8, Acts 2:38-39, 10:44-46, 11:14-16, 15.7-9 and 1. Corinthians. 12:1-31)
8. The sign of the baptism in the Holy Spirit: The believer's baptism in the Holy Spirit proves physically by speaking in new tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, and then by spiritual power through testimoney and services. (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 10:44-46 and 19:2-6)
9. Congregation: The congregation is Christ's body and all believers are part of it. (Ephesians 1:22, 2:19-22 and Hebrews 12:23)
10. Complete success: Jesus showed through his death and resurrection, that God would save both the human's spirit, body and soul. God's will is that everyone must walk in divine healing and prosperity in this life, and through faith win the victory in all areas of life which are: a) Spiritually (namely John. 3:3, 3:11, 2 Cor. 5:17-21, Rom. 10:9-10) b) Soul (namely 2 Tim.17, Rome. 12:2, Ace. 26:3) c) Physically (2 Deuteronomy 15:266, Ace. 53.3-4; 1 Pet. 2:24)d) c)Financially (3 John. 2, M. 3, 10-11, Luke. 6:38, 2 Cor. 9:6, Deuteronomy, 28:1-14) e) Socially (Proverbs 3:4)
11. Jesus' return: Jesus comes again to rapture all the saints in heaven. (1 Cor. 15:51-52, 1 Tess. 4:16-17 and 2 Tess. 2:1)
12. Everlasting divorce: Those who do not receive Jesus Christ as Lord will suffer an eternal loss and divorce from God. They will have to burn in the lake of fire. (Revelation 19.20, 20:10-15)
13. Millennium: Lord Jesus Christ returns with the saints, to reign for a thousand years on earth, as the Bible promises. (Romans 11:25-27, 2 Tess. 1: .7, Revelation 19:11-16 and 20:1-7) Then a new heaven and earth will be created. (Revelation 21)
